OHCOACH Metric Glossary

This glossary is all about OHCOACH metrics. Find out what metrics OHCOACH provides and how each metric is defined and calculated. Understanding the metrics allows for more in-depth interpretation.

Introduction

OHCOACH Metrics are derived from location, velocity and motion data which are received through highly accurate OHCOACH Cells. From the moment OHCOACH Cell is on, it records location and velocity data every 0.1s (GPS), 9-axis motion data every 0.01s (IMU) until it is turned off. By setting activity and session time period in OHCOACH Analytics, the metrics will be calculated by using data only from that period(s).

Metric Groups

Metric groups are semantic definition of measured metrics. Metric groups guide to recognize which metrics help with which interpretation. A metric group can be matched to multiple metrics. We should always be aware of which interpretation a particular metric is being used for.
