How do we detect it?
Fitogether’s Deceleration Effort is defined as an action which starts from a point right before a point where player’s deceleration is less than the required maximum threshold and ends at the last point at which player’s deceleration is less the required maximum threshold.
Above graph is a demonstration of Explosive Deceleration detection.
Dots on the graph above represent deceleration data collected per 0.1 second by OHCOACH Cell and the coloured areas represent the time where deceleration data points were less than -3m/s2. In this case, data points less than -3m/s2 with minimum duration of 0.5 seconds were requirements for Explosive Deceleration detection. Unlike Run Effort detection, there’s no tolerance time setting in Explosive Deceleration detection.
